Lunch Time Play Worker - Nursery - Temporary

The Pines School is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and committed Lunch Time Play Worker to join our friendly hard working team. Our Lunch Time Play Worker will work across the whole school with direction from our play leader. You will be encouraging children to eat their lunch together, provide a safe, fun and inclusive play opportunities. Ideally the candidate will be paediatric first aid trained or be happy to undertake this training soon after the appointment.

The successful candidate will join a team who are passionate about engaging and inspiring young people in their learning and will have experience of working with primary age range children.

The Pines is a vibrant Primary school with a Nursery.  We are well resourced and we have extensive outside space along with a Specialist Resource Provision. There are currently 310 children on roll.

At The Pines there has been rapid improvement in the quality of education, behaviour & attitudes and personal development and we are very proud to have been graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted in January 2023. We will continue to focus on improving the outcomes for our children. This is an exciting time to join us and our amazing team.

The school is located in the Hanworth estate which is on the outskirts of Bracknell town and is within very easy access of many amenities.  The 'Look Out’ environmental area, Bracknell Sports Centre and Swimming Pool, David Lloyd Health Club, the South Hill Park Theatre & Arts Centre are all well within walking distance with skating, bowling, cinemas and a leisure pool nearby.

Hours: 11.15noon – 1.15pm, 10 hours per week, term time only, Temporary until April 2025 with the potential to be extended.

Bracknell Grade K: SCP2-SCP3 £23,656 - £24,027 + London Weighting pro rata

Actual Salary: approx. £12.26 - £12.45 per hour
