Required for October 2025 or as soon as possible, we are seeking to appoint a highly organised Admissions Officer to take ownership of and ensure the continued smooth running of the school’s admissions process.  As the first point of contact for prospective parents or carers, the Admissions Officer is an ambassador for the school and our ethos and values.

Ranelagh is an 11-18 coeducational, Anglican Academy (converter) which is oversubscribed and has an excellent reputation for academic achievement and positive school ethos.  The school has had five ‘outstanding’ Ofsted reports but we are not complacent.

We are looking for a confident, positive and enthusiastic person able to deliver a welcoming, warm and professional admissions experience, providing prospective families with the advice and guidance they require throughout the admissions process.

The successful candidate will require meticulous organisation skills; excellent interpersonal and communication skills; be able to multitask and prioritise their own work efficiently and effectively; exercise initiative and confidentiality; and work well under pressure to provide a first-class level of customer service.

Salary range: BG-H 19-24 - £19,593.07 - £21,681.26 (actual salary) includes London weighting.

Hours: 28 hours per week (term time only), plus 20 hours during the school holidays (as directed by the Headteacher).  On occasion and following discussion with the Headteacher it will be possible for some work to be completed at home.

The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, confident and well-organised and share the school’s commitment to helping all students achieve their potential.  They will also need to have had some experience of working with young people, preferably in education.

This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share this commitment. All staff employed in the school must be aware that an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check will be undertaken.

If you are interested in learning more about the position, please contact the Headteacher via the school office, on 01344 421233 or by email, at recruitment@bonitas.org.uk  Details of the post are also available on the school website.
