An exciting opportunity has arisen for an energetic and caring Learning Support Assistant, who can work with our Support Team to enhance the learning and progress of students within the school. Post required as soon as possible. This is a one year Fixed Term Contract.
Ranelagh is an 11-18 coeducational, Anglican Academy (converter) which is oversubscribed and has an excellent reputation for academic achievements and positive school ethos. The school has had five ‘Outstanding’ OFSTED reports, with Grade 1 across all areas, but we are not complacent. In addition to excellence in terms of academic outcomes, our purpose is to provide a supportive, stimulating and secure environment in which young people can thrive.
The role will be varied and interesting, working with students with a range of needs and across a number of subject areas.
The equivalent of GCSE Grade C, or above, in English and Maths is essential for this post. Previous experience of working with student aged 11-19 is desirable.

Salary range: Scale BG-J 6 - £20,228.00 (actual salary including London weighting).
Hours: 33.5 hours per week, term time only: 3 x short days = 8.45am to 3.35pm including a 30-minute unpaid break and 2 x long days = 8.45am to 4.30pm including a 30-minute unpaid break.
